Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Welcome to Glennie Kindred’s website. These Terms & Conditions explain how purchases are made, processed and delivered, along with your rights as a customer.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

1. About Us

This website is operated by:

Email: glenniekindredtrees@gmail.com

2. Products

We sell books, prints, postcards and related products.

We aim to describe and photograph all products accurately. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.

All products are subject to availability.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).

Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase.

Payments are securely processed through PayPal.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging your purchase.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred or payment cannot be completed. Any payment already received for a cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Pre-Orders

Some products may be available to pre-order before their official publication or release date.

Pre-order products will be clearly identified on the website, together with their expected release date.

Payment is taken when the pre-order is placed.

Pre-orders will normally be dispatched on or shortly after the stated release date, subject to stock availability.

If the release date changes significantly or the product becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss your options, including cancellation and a refund.

Your statutory cancellation rights also apply to pre-orders.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver to UK addresses using postal services.

Delivery charges depend on the products ordered and are shown at checkout.

Orders are normally dispatched as soon as reasonably possible, subject to product availability and any stated pre-order dates.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made.

If delivery is delayed, please contact us at glenniekindredtrees@gmail.com.

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or someone you have nominated to receive them.

7. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers purchasing most products online have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, email glenniekindredtrees@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery, clearly stating that you wish to cancel.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Certain products, including genuinely personalised or custom-made items, may be exempt from the statutory cancellation right. Any applicable exception will be clearly explained before purchase.

8. Returns and Refunds

If you cancel because you have changed your mind:

  • You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Products should be returned within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.

  • You may inspect products as you would in a shop, but you may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by unnecessary handling.

  • We will refund the price paid and the applicable standard outbound delivery charge.

  • Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or receiving evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Please contact us before returning goods so we can provide return instructions.

9. Faulty or Incorrect Products

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

Where required by law, we will arrange an appropriate refund, repair or replacement and cover reasonable return costs.

These rights are separate from your 14-day change-of-mind cancellation rights.

10. Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, the written content, illustrations, photographs and other creative materials on this website belong to Glennie Kindred or their respective copyright holders.

They must not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without the appropriate permission.

11. Website Information

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

Information provided through the website is for general interest and should not be treated as professional advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please refer to that policy for details of how customer information is collected, used and protected.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Consumers retain any mandatory legal protections that apply to them.
